Black Ops Is Owning

GameStop has announced pre-order sales for Call of Duty: Black Ops are outperforming those of Modern Warfare 2.According to the chain’s SVP of merchandising, Bob McKenzie, the title has seen “all-time, record reservations” and are ahead of where Modern Warfare 2 was this time last year, a title which “previously set the industry standard”.Back in July, Pacific Crest analyst Evan Wilson said his retail contacts claimed Black Ops pre-orders were accumulating faster than Modern Warfare 2, and he predicated the game could sell 12 million units during the holiday season alone.Wilson also said CoD titles always set a sales record upon release, with each respective game doing better than the previous one in the series.Black Ops is due for release on November 9 for PC, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360.

If you have heard-Halo Reach has announced that they are the #1 most played game online to this date, for the past few weeks. This may be true, but don't worry Bungie-Treyarch is going to take everybody by the hand and run!

Fallout: New Vegas

Fallout: New Vegas is an upcoming role-playing video game in the Fallout series, currently in development by Obsidian Entertainment (many employees of which worked for Black Isle Studios on Fallout and Fallout 2) and has been scheduled for release on October 19, 2010, in North America, and October 22, 2010, in Europe.
Fallout: New Vegas is not a direct sequel to Fallout 3. The game offers a similar role-playing experience as Fallout 3 and events are set three years later. However, reportedly, no characters from the previous game will appear.

The game places the player in the role of a courier. The courier, while delivering a package to a town called Primm with a platinum poker chip and NCR war documents, is found half dead in a shallow grave after being shot in the head by Benny, the leader of a crime family called the Geckos, and left for dead. The Courier is rescued by a robot named Victor who brings the courier to Doc Mitchel who treats the courier's injuries. Thereafter the player enters into character creation (defining skills and attributes, name, gender, age and appearance) before investigating the assassination attempt, recovering the stolen package, and exploring the world.

MW2 DLC - Not That Fun

I purchased the MW2 DLC yesterday, hoping that the maps would be great, but after playing them, they aren't anything special.
My friend gave me 6000, YES SIX THOUSAND Microsoft points, so I bought them.
(An account he didn't want apparently)
And I just didn't find them fun.
So, I am just downloading movies now :D

So if you are thinking about getting them, think twice.

New Game: Fable III

I've played the first two Fable games, which so far have been great.
I'm a big fan of the second Fable and have all of the DLC for it.
This is a game I am looking forward to, a brief summary of the game is here:

Molyneux has promised to remove traditional RPG mechanics from Fable III, the emphasis being on removing "clunkiness" and making the game more accessible. One of the most striking changes in Fable III is the menu system, or, rather, the absence of one. Citing the distaste of lists, the game lacks any semblance of a traditional 2D menu, instead relying solely on the game universe from the moment you hit the start button. Upon hitting the start button the player is transported to the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is inhabited by your personal butler, Jasper, who makes in-game suggestions and advice. Changing clothes is now accomplished by using a changing room that features all of your wardrobe possibilities. Magic is now cast by gauntlets kept in the Sanctuary instead of changing them through the HUD, and shops contain their inventories on the shelves instead of in purchase screens.

There are rewards for being a self-serving ruler, including a treasury filled with gold piles that grow or diminish based on the player's wealth. When the player accumulates a large quantity of gold they will be able to climb it to retrieve a key on an otherwise inaccessible balcony. The player's in-game family will attempt to pressure the player into selfishly taking money from Albion to maintain and upgrade his or her castle.

Overall a great RPG which I can't wait to get my hands on.

It goes over the new customization that you can have in the upcoming game.

Looks Epic :3

Call Of Duty: Black Ops

Call Of Duty: Blackops is the upcoming Call of Duty to be released on November.
I personally can't wait to play.
People are having mixed feelings about this game.
Will it be as bad as World at War? Most people are saying they have stepped up their game and hopefully it will be much better then any of the Call of Duty games.
So for you COD Fan boys, go get your copy pre-ordered and get ready to play! :D

Overview

Black Ops is a first-person shooter. The player assumes the role of a foot soldier and thus has access to various firearms, of which two at a time can be carried, as well as explosives such as grenades and other equipment to fight enemies. When players are close enough to an enemy, they can perform a melee attack which ensures a one-hit-kill.

Multi-Player
The online multiplayer mode of Black Ops retains the experience points and unlockable reward system that has been kept since Call of Duty 4. The game's multiplayer focuses on socialization and customization. "Create-a-Class 2.0" will allow enhanced personalization with appearance items as well as upgradable perks: weapons will be extensively customizable with clan tag writing, emblems, attachments and camouflage painting. Even reticles can be modified. There will be more than one style for an attachment, which allows for a lot more personalized weaponry; for example, the player can choose between a Red Dot Sight or a Reflex Sight, both of which share the same traits only visually look different. Character models will depend on the first tier perk instead of the weapon's type. Furthermore, face paints can be unlocked.
A currency system has been implemented allowing players to buy weapons, accessories and clothes. Players can gamble with their "COD Points" in a free-for-all based playlist called "Wager Match", which is composed of four game modes. Time limited objectives known as "Contracts" can be purchased to gain more currency and experience points. New custom killstreak rewards include RC explosive cars, guided missiles and controllable attack helicopters. For the first time in the series, clips from online gameplay can be recorded. Players will be able to play alone or with friends against AI opponents in "Combat Training" with a separate progression system.

Halo Reach - Most Played Online Game

We all have heard of the famous Bungie, but are they really that good? Bungie Employees have verified that they are the #1 most online played game for the Xbox 360! Halo Reach has brought together many things other players have wanted, as it's the last of the series, sadly. [For Bungie that is] Halo will live on! Now, next month on November 9th, 2010, do you think Call of Duty: Black Ops will rack in far more? I personally think Black Ops will blow Reach out of the water, as many people bought Reach for the shear fact that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 simply got too old for them. Stay tuned for updates on Halo Reach and further console games. Thanks!

Halo Reach - 2010

Halo: Reach is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 console. Reach was released in North America, Australia, and Europe on September 14, 2010. Originally unveiled at E3 2009, Reach was preceded by a multiplayer beta available to those who purchased Halo 3: ODST, in order to gain player feedback for fixing bugs and making gameplay tweaks. Reach is the final Halo title that Bungie will be developing, as the Microsoft-owned studio 343 Industries will take over development for all future games in the series.
The game takes place in the year 2552, where humanity is locked in a war with the alien Covenant on the human colony of Reach weeks prior to the events of Halo: Combat Evolved. Players control Noble 6, a member of an elite supersoldier squad, during the battle for the world of Reach. As the Covenant begin their assault on the planet, the UNSC begin their heroic yet ultimately futile effort to halt the brutal alien invaders.
